Already set for your much awaited trip to Perth? Then you
are probably packing your luggage now, well we all know that packing can be a
daunting task and most people tend to pack less or pack excessively, either way
it can pose potential problems than can ruin your much needed vacation.
Packing Tips
Make a list – Write all the needs you need before packing so
you wouldn’t forget anything, make the list as organize as possible so when you
pull those clothes from the closet you can pack it in a neat and convenient
way. You can either pack by segregating the tops from the pants and all or you
can pack by arranging it according to what you’ll wear and put in a re-sealable
plastic bag.
Pack lightly – Make sure to bring only the things you’ll
actually need, never over pack or under pack. Over packing may cost you
hundreds of dollars in airports and you wouldn’t want to be carrying that heavy
luggage while packing less may ruin your vacation because you not have all the
things you need. So pack lightly yet completely.
Hand carry bags – Make sure you put all important belongings
like you money, passports, mobile phones and jewelries in your hand carry bag
and never in your luggage. Airports and cargo airlines will not be held
responsible for any losses, so keep that in mind.
Hygiene – If you will be staying in a service apartment in Perth then you will be provided with fresh
towels everyday so you can slash that off your list, service apartments in Perth will also provide you hygienic items
like toiletries and toothbrush, however if you wish to use your preferred brand
then you might want to bring your own because you’ll never know if the product
is available in that area.
Medications – If you are taking maintenance medication then
bring enough dosages for the trip or better bring more. It will also help if
you put it in a medicine container so heat and moisture won’t affect its
potency. For children with allergies bring the prescribed anti-histamine
medication and for severe allergies you might want to consult your physician
first it if is safe to travel in that area and discuss if you need Epi-pens and
such.
Bring your credit card – Since there is a certain amount of
cash you can bring in an airport, you might want to bring your credit card, not
to burn in shopping but for emergency purposes only.
